 Radio Playday - Back by popular demand

News Item

After numerous requests, a "Radio Playday" will be held at 5th Urmston Scout HQ, Queens Rd, Urmston on Saturday 2nd August.  The site will be open from 9am - 5pm approx.

For those of you who have not attended previous "playdays", it is an opportunity to just turn up with your favourite equipment and set it up either outdoors in the superb grounds or inside the scout hut and ---- just operate!!   You can circulate and chat with others about their kit and it is an ideal way of discovering new modes.

All being well, there will also be a BBQ, but I will need to know you intend coming to ensure sufficient Sausages are available!

We already have HF, SSTV, ATV, 23cms, 4m, VHF/UHF, APRS and real time Air Navigation (SBS1) demonstrations promised.
